Decadent Choc Brownie Protein Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 140g peanut or almond butter
  • 60ml maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tbsp almond meal or oat flour
  • 2-3 serves ATP Science NoWay Collagen Hot Chocolate Powder
  • 100g dark chocolate, melted
  • Coarse sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth.
  2. Add the cacao powder, almond meal, and NoWay Hot Chocolate powder, and mix until fully combined. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Roll the mixture into 12 bite-sized balls and chill in the fridge or freezer for another 20 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a stovetop. Using two forks, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  5. Place the coated truffles on a sheet of baking paper and, if desired, sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Repeat until all truffles are coated.
  6. Store in the fridge or freezer and enjoy whenever you need a sweet pick-me-up!
